Joseph Hollcraft is an experienced and knowledgeable business broker with International Business Associates (“IBA”). He is professionally trained in business valuation, sales, negotiation, and deal facilitation. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the state of Oregon, allowing him to facilitate all aspects of a business sale. Joseph works almost exclusively with sellers, and primarily in the “middle market” with typical transaction list prices ranging from $500K to $10M. Joseph specializes in hospitality and is well versed in manufacturing, construction (he previously owned a construction business), technology, and a mix of other business types.
Prior to joining IBA, Joseph was semi-retired. He did well in the tech sector in his 20’s and at 31 took a step back from the work force. In his 30’s he went back to school, helped run a mid-sized charity, and when the boredom set in, spent time driving for Uber. Ultimately Joseph wanted a new career, a second chapter, so he started a remodeling company. Later, after getting a real estate license to avoid paying commission on house flips, he spent two years as a real estate broker. When a friend asked him to help sell some food carts, Joseph reached out to IBA for advice. After a long conversation with one of IBA’s senior members, Joseph believed he found his calling and has been working with IBA ever since.
